Electrolube, the leading electro-chemicals manufacturer announced the move of their worldwide headquarters and UK factory to new larger premises earlier this year, but can now confirm their new base will be in the market town of Ashby de la Zouch, Leicestershire. Despite the current economic climate, Electrolube, is expanding and positioning itself for continued growth with the move to an impressive 62,000 sq. ft. new facility.

Electrolube Managing Director, Ron Jakeman said: "The move has been welcomed by all employees of The H. K. Wentworth Group. We've started with the administration, R & D laboratories and the finished goods warehousing. The move of the manufacturing plant will be greatly assisted by the increased use of our worldwide manufacturing plants during this period. We are also very fortunate that we have the luxury of not having to rush this move.

"The new facilities are approximately six miles from the old site, close to the M42 giving excellent access to and from the site.  We have also supplied employees with a free minibus service from Swadlincote where the former site is situated to Ashby de la Zouch and provided them with additional salary increment to help with any extra travel costs.  We value our employees and maintaining the experienced and professional staff is extremely important to us."
