Flemington, N.J. — DEK promoted Darren Brown to alternative energy development manager, as part of a global market initiative for alternative-energy technologies.

Brown will support the company's sales and distribution branches in developing fuel and solar cell business. He will coordinate with customers to define current and long-term challenges and directions within the alternative energy industry. Reporting to corporate chairman John Knowles, Brown will pursue development on configurable platforms that suit applications producing alternative-energy technologies. Brown noted his first initiative as gaining exposure for established fuel-cell tooling in the U.K.
