IPC Gov. Relations Steering Committee Adds New Members
Friday, February 26, 2010 | IPC

IPC's Government Relations (GR) Steering Committee is two members stronger with the recent election of Mark Osborn, President, Colonial Circuits Inc., and Irene Sterian, Manager of Advanced Process Development, Celestica. With upcoming GR committee meetings at IPC APEX Expo™ in April and IPC Capitol Hill Day in June, the new members hit the ground running to catch up on the critical issues currently being addressed by the group.

The mission of the GR Steering Committee is to further IPC members' interests by promoting policies to foster economic growth and job creation and to enhance the international competitiveness of the electronic interconnect industry. In carrying out its charge, the committee addresses a broad range of issues that affect IPC member companies, such as tax policy, trade policy and trade promotion (including support for a fair, open and rules-based international trading system), technology policy (support for electronic interconnect research and development), as well as other issues as identified by members' needs.

"I am excited about the significant expansion of experience, talent and coverage that the new members of the GR committee bring to the table," says GR Steering Committee Chairman, Dan Feinberg. "All have extensive industry experience. In addition, each of them brings something unique--Irene expands the group's perspective into Canada and Mark has actually run for office and lives near enough to Washington, D.C. to allow him to help pursue our goals in person. There's no doubt that with the addition of these two individuals, we have gained significant resources that will help IPC to meet the needs of our industry."

Sterian and Osborn join current members: Dan Feinberg, President, Fein-Line Associates; Michael Brown, Chairman of the Board of Directors, Logic Corporation; Jack Calderon, Managing Partner, Lincoln International; Nilesh Naik, CEO, OneSource Group; Joe O'Neil, President and CEO, Hunter Technology Corporation; and Mikel Williams, President and CEO, DDi Corporation.
